Devblog 4 - Development week 2
Howdy everyone!
Welcome back to our weekly devlog! This time around we got a bit more in the art departement than last time and also added a couple pickups and hazards around the map. Another big thing.. We have decided to rename our game to Furball Fury, as we felt it more fitting with our theme and unique.
First of all we got some animations running on our cute furballs :) .
The toon shader is a WIP.
We also decided to add some different color patterns so player have a choice of what they would like to look like and distinct them from other players.
Obviously pink is the best one
The programmers this week made the movement more smooth and added a couple of the pickups including a shield , dash and freeze ray.
Our first environmental hazard "The rolling boulders" is also completely done and works how we wanted it to behave.
Next up we want to have all the animations implemented and run smoothly enough, and we want to have more of the pickups done together with some more environmental hazards!
It was a short blog this week but hope u enjoyed it nonetheless! Next week our first development sprint will end and we'll show u a nice gameplay video and deliver a fun playable demo.
